Charlie R. Marsden, PE - President, CEO & Board Member Charlie joined Durrant in 1976 as a mechanical engineer and today serves as President and CEO of Durrant. In this role he strives to lead by example and ensure the highest quality and most profitable delivery of services. As a graduate of the University of Illinois, Charlie serves on the College of Engineering Alumni Board where he advises on programs and curriculum and also mentors undergraduate students.

William (Bill) A. Baker, AIA, NCARB - Managing Principal & Chairman of the Board Specializing in justice operations, Bill has over 40 years of experience with all construction delivery methods, with a focus on police stations, jails and prisons in both the United States and abroad. He has meticulous communication skills that allow for thorough and efficient responses. Bill is both a registered professional architect and a licensed civil engineer. He has worked on a wide variety of project types, including criminal justice, educational, healthcare and government facilities. |

Kevin has been with Durrant for nearly 25 years and has designed and managed a variety of projects, including schools, libraries, offices, museums, and community spaces. Kevin specializes in learning environments; he has worked on more than 100 educational projects representing over 20 K-12 clients and more than 17 collegiate clients. Kevin is passionate about sustainable design and is active in community and professional organizations. Kevin served as President of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Iowa Chapter, for the 2008-2009 term. |

Scott has over 30 years experience in architectural design and management, and
has devoted the majority of his career to the design and development of public facilities.
Having worked on police operations centers, state and municipal courthouses, jails
and prisons to governmental administration facilities, he understands the operational
needs of these specialized, multi-user facilities, and is adept at working with large
user groups in programming, needs assessments, and design. |

Frank H. Roberts - Director of Durrant Justice & Board Member As Director of Justice for Durrant, Frank is involved with virtually all of the firm’s
projects requiring his expertise in programming and master planning of justice
facilities. He has participated in a wide variety of projects and studies ranging from
regional planning to detailed facility design. His background in architecture and
planning has been gained through professional experiences in the United States,
Europe, and Australia. |

Fred Trumm - Sr. Vice President & Board Member Fred is heavily involved in the corporate leadership of the firm and serves as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. He is passionate about client satisfaction and guides company initatives to continually improve Durrant’s delivery of quality client services.
